JoDee and I saw an incredible concert tonight. Yo-Yo Ma played over at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts. Unbelievable! We got third row seats (expensive, but worth it!) Yo-Yo Ma epitomizes what performing music is all about. His intensity on the cello was evident by the number of horsehairs on his bow which snapped during the performance. :) However, through his intensity and love for the music, he was very cordial to the audience, and explained the different instruments the performers were using, and introduced each of the performers. Watching Yo-Yo Ma play was also a very entrancing experience not soon forgotten. If you get a chance to see him in concert, please do.
