Last night, JoDee told me that she heard a really loud BANG outside her window. Turns out someone in the dorms across the way threw a monitor out from their window and it landed glass first and imploded. Pretty funny. Of course campus security was on the scene in short order to determine that indeed [...]

Just in case anyone was worried about my foot, it’s much much better today. I guess keeping off of it for most of the day really helped.

Well, I managed to screw my ankle up pretty well at JoDee’s house while walking down the stairs. Not fun. I’m sitting in bed right now with a Ditto 221 XL terminal hooked to my DEC Alpha as a serial console, telnetted into my main machine. I’ve got my foot elevated, and I’m reading some [...]

Just a quick note to mention that not much is going on here. Busy at work trying to rewrite a Java program in Perl. Other than that, everything is quiet here.

Sucks to be in Michigan… The Leonid Meteor shower wasn’t visible at all since we had a great deal of fog out there. I looked out at 2am, and there was nothing but grey out there. Truly disappointing. I was hoping it might be clear out so we could see at least SOMETHING. Oh well.
Dan [...]

Had the day off work today, so I spent it all with JoDee. (Can’t think of a better way to spend a day off. :) ) We went out to Belleville to see Ruth. Had a lot of fun out there (JoDee and Ruth got some chocolate, so they were hyper as hell).
After we got [...]

Back from CinciClassic. I got the photos that I took of the event online, and I’ll be putting up a report of the event up later on tonight (assuming I can get around to it). It’s funny how disoriented you can get from a small weekend trip. Time is moving quite slowly in comparison. I [...]

Heading out in a few short minutes to drive with Dan down to CinciClassic. I’m pretty excited about it. Should be a lot of fun, and I get to say hi to some people I haven’t seen in years. Of course I’m going to miss JoDee very much while I’m away, but I think she’s [...]

JoDee and I were at a pizza place last night, readying ourselves to enjoy the pizza we just ordered, and talking about the days events. As we were talking, a couple and their 3 or 4 children sat down near us, on the other side of a wall with bars at about eye level if [...]
