  • snapl: @eightyeight OK, I'll buy that there's differences in DACs, but a $400+ difference between a moderate CD player and an "audiphile" player?
  • snapl: Can someone explain to me what the purpose of "audiophile" CD players are, other than to fleece the HIFI faithful? Digital is digital right?
  • snapl: Had a bowl of Kinchee soup. The label said it was medium heat, but I think they made it extra-special-hot for me. Dragon-breath, here I come
  • snapl: @wolfger Well, I know several folks have drifted away, or have started using Twitter to bridge to Identi.ca, so the conversation dwindles.
