With 1800 people in the armed services dying each day, and only 500 buglers available, giving an honorable funeral to the deceased has been an issue. Technology to the rescue with the digital bugle, a push-button device which plays a version of “Taps” which is undistinguishable from the real instrument. It’s a problem you probably weren’t aware of, with a pretty cool solution. The company’s website is http://www.ceremonialbugle.com and is currently expecting new shipments in November.
