There is a series of (allegedly college professor) lectures released under the “Portable Professor” label. Ever since I discovered them, I wanted to pick a few of them up. They have all sorts of different topics, like “What Would Socrates Do?“, and “Patriots: Brotherhood of the American Revolution” , and so on. One of the lectures I really wanted to pick up was the “Benjamin Franklin: The Original American” lecture. Benjamin Franklin, to me, is the prototypical American geek and lifehacker. He was immensely curious, used his curiosity to invent some really cool things. The lecture spans Franklin’s life, and is a reverent, yet deep look into the man behind the legend (and let’s face it, he’s a legend in America). Well worth a listen, and very reasonably priced.

Echoes…- Just spent the evening doing dumb things so you don't have to. Going to have an interesting blog post come Sunday.
- Some days I wish I had a TARDIS, but I fear I'd only use it as a PODS storage unit. Talk about missing the point entirely. :)
