Just when you thought your childhood memories couldn’t possibly be roto-tilled any more, out comes another abomination to waft through and defile your senses. No, not The Bionic Woman, think something that would even make your parents parents cringe. Give up? How about Alvin and the Chipmunks 2007. (Poster). As if Rocky and Bullwinkle and Garfield weren’t bitchslaps enough against the movie industry to try this sort of clap-trap, now we have to suffer another bastardization of a cartoon that didn’t need modification (even the 1980s remake was pretty pathetic). What’s next? Never mind… forget I asked.

“Typical Hollywood creation story involving how David Seville receives three baby chipmunks who were left on his doorstop as orphans.
