Universl Music is making a move in the right direction by lowering CD prices to around $12. The prices of CDs lately has been utterly ridiculous, with some albums retailing for $19. I'm sorry, but there is no reason why a recording should cost as much as a dinner for two at Red Robin (including drinks). Hopefully this is a step in the right direction with other companies lowering their prices. I'm also hopeful that the cuts won't affect artists in any way, but only time will tell.
