Tonight we had some water issues out here in our lovely neck of the woods. WXYZ TV did a short, sweet piece on the issue by showing the country map, and the area affected. WDIV, however, pulled out all the stops. They went live to the scene in the Walmart parking lot, and showed the signs of the local area chain businesses. It was spectacular. The WXYZ piece took all of 5 seconds to say "boil your water", but WDIV did a 30 second piece to add the cause of the problem.

If it isn't sensational, they'll sure work it for all it's worth.
