I'm not sure if you've read or heard the news, but in case you haven't, the administration has been caught wiretapping citizens without using the judicial branch. Add to this the outright admission of faulty intelligence leading up to the Iraq war, and the practical arm-wrestling over torture with the congress, and you should have the scenario for the administrations approval ratings smacking the floor in their rapid descent. So, why is it that Bush's approval rating is actually climbing? I'm not sure who these people are who are approving the job that GWB is doing, but I can't get behind the tactics this administration is using to crush civil liberties. It's just not right, and runs contrary to the principles on which this country was founded.
