here's some of the goodies I saw in recent catalogs for Black Friday shopping:

• OK, can anyone enlighten me on why this Craftsman Thermometer is necessary? Outsid of the initial "Oh, look, the walls are 67F", and the humorous "Kid's sick. I just took his temperature from across the room" shenannigans, I can't find this being even remotely valuable.
• This phone from Motorola is pretty... uh... interesting. The ringtones sound pretty cool, though. (Duck, Elk, Goose, Owl, Hawk, Cougar, Coyote, Loon and Turkey to be precise).
