I've decided on a few new year's resolutions for next year. One of them is in how I'm using this blog. In the past I've posted things like birthday announcements on the blog, but this year I've decided to be a little more private and just send my birthday wishes via e-mail. There's two reasons for that. The first is I don't update this blog very often, so I have a stream of birthday announcements (especially in September. Whoo Lordie there's a lot in September). The second is I don't think anyone really reads them. So, for the new year, I'm planning on just sending an e-mail or a card and leaving it at that.

I hope this doesn't offend anyone who would like to see their name in virtual lights, but I think no-one will mind.
