Also, while I'm on the subject of spleen-venting over softwae, I have to say that I've moved back over to Gallery for one reason and one reason only - FSpot integration. FSpot makes uploading photos into Gallery so incredibly easy, it's almost criminal how easy it is. You'd think we were in some sort of Web 2.0+ world where our thoughts are projected onto the web in real-time or something. So, Gallery + FSpot = A+ in my book. I wish more OSS applications were this integrated. Also, FSpot makes organizing my photos into something of a joy (even though I'm still ticked that it doesn't much care for my previous directory structure. What's with these applications nowadays wanting to organize items on their own terms?)
