25 things you might not know about me:

1. I once quoted an entire newsgroup post, only to add two words at the bottom. "Blow Me".
2. I own a (relatively) complete set of the old magazine "Popular Computing".
3. I got my leg caught between two tree trunks when I was younger. The neighbor across the street had to use a piece of wood to move them so I could get out.
4. A practice version of the MOISE career placement profile said I should be an agricultural engineer.
5. I met my wife at a juggling club.
6. My parents asked me in 7th grade what instrument I would like to play after I stopped taking piano lessons. I told them drums, thinking they'd never go for it. I got my a snare drum that Christmas, and haven't looked back.
7. I still have the third CD I ever bought (Joe Jackson: Big World). I sold off the first two (Bryan Adams: Into the Fire, Bon Jovi: Slippery When Wet).
8. I worked WTHS (the college radio station) every semester I could. I had mid-afternoon shows, morning shows, and later had a very successful Metal and Industrial show with Alan and Derwood.
9. I went to a Lutheran elementary school, Catholic high school, and a Reformed Church of America college.
10. I called Taito of America on a payphone to ask them to port Arkanoid to the Atari 8-bit.
11. I ran a BBS out of my college dorm room on an Atari 8-bit, that eventually had a 100MB hard drive attached to it.
12. I co-organized and organized two dances at my college dorm.
13. I enjoy flea markets and garage sales.
14. I can't wear hats, and I can't grow my hair out long as both look incredibly stupid on me.
15. I have an uncanny ability with puppets that JoDee finds creepy (especially puppets of mammals).

21. I tried making stop-animation movies with clay and a VCR with an old-stye camera. Unfortunately they didn't turn out very good.
22. I've stopped drinking pop, and try to avoid high fructose corn syrup.
23. Growing up, I was fascinated by pin-setting machines at bowling alleys.
24. I read Amityville Horror once when I was home alone on a windy night. Freaked the hell out of me.
25. I got very good at getting an arcade machine to accept nickels... so good that they eventually had to replace the machine because the nickels shorted out the power supply on the bottom of the machine.
