It's time to celebrate another release of Ubuntu! After 6 months of hard work, Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) releases on Thursday, and the Ubuntu Michigan Loco is ready to celebrate!

The folks on the West Michigan side will be celebrating on Wednesday, October 12th at Casey's Garage, located at 112 Baldwin St, Jenison, MI. from 8PM - 11PM. More information, and how to RSVP is available from the event page.

The Metro-Detroit Ubuntu Loco will be celebrating on Thursday, October 13th from 7PM - 10PM at the Liberty Street Brewing Company, located at 149 W. Liberty Street, Plymouth, MI. More information and how to RSVP is also available from the event page.

If you have a few spare CD-Rs and want to make some CDs, please feel free. You might want to ask on the mailing list if there are any particular flavors that people are looking to pick up.
