Checking in for 2023-06-28:
- Went in for chemo today. They didn't send me home with a pump this time around so hopefully the diarrhea will be much less.
- The results from my PET scan came back. They haven't been reviewed by my oncologist yet but there's a whole possibly good news / possibly bad news. The good news is that they believe the rectal tumor is benign. The bad news is that the liver cancer is having a party (the SUV is more than doubled for the liver tumors) and the lung tumors have modest increases. Also it's in my adrenal glands and one of my lymph nodes (if I'm understanding this properly). Which means that the chemo worked fine for the rectal tumor but might not be working as well for the other tumors. I have an appointment with Dr. Jaiyesimi in two weeks so we'll see how that goes and what his expert opinion is for it.
- I'm not too worried at this point. I know there's going to be progression but I"m confident there are still treatment options. Perhaps that's misplaced optimism but I'm not sure where to put my optimism at the moment so misplacing it is as good as anywhere.
- I did a little work on my Record Shop game with prompts. I'm looking into Cartomancy for some ideas. Coming up with 52 prompts is hard work, friends.
I'm tired from chemo. More later as I know it.
