Checking In: 2023-12-05

Checking in for 2023-12-05:

Last night I didn't get great sleep because of a few things. One thing was our furnace was acting up again. JoDee woke me up around 4am to look into why the house was cold. Unfortunately I didn't get the code that the controller was displaying before restarting it. Hopefully if it decides to do that again I'll have the presence of mind to get the code. Also I had several errands that I was thinking about. I have a tendency to obsess over errands and events in the future. I'm already thinking about my upcoming PET scan. I need to work on keeping with the present and focusing on the present. This consumes me and leaves precious little focus for the present. I need to keep my head in the present and not worry so much about the future.
I did get a few things done today and moving so that that was a plus. Plus I did my duty as an honorable cat bed for Pixel.
My hemoglobin was at 8 so I got two Epoetin alfa (nee: Procrit) shots. (Well, it was two half-doses because that was all they could get). It's ridiculous that we're still having medicine shortages for something as common as Procrit. But then again there have been shortages of Losartan as well, so...
