Checking in for 2024-01-29:
Last week my intention was to focus on my most important tasks first thing in the morning and work on them. I did OK with this. My main thing was that I didn't do these things first-thing but that is in part because I have a lot of things that make up my morning (taking pills, having my low-fat breakfast before taking my Regorafenib (nee: Stivarga, Regonix), and getting ready for the day. Once I have all of that out of the way I can focus on on my most important tasks. I just need to either be OK with this or figure out another way to handle this. Regardless I think this is going to continue to be my intention this week.
I'm still making progress on my book. I'm getting more of its skeleton together so I can have something to whip into shape.
It seems that my evenings will need to have me plan for diarrhea. That seems to be one of the side-effects of the Stivarga. I'm working on a way to manage this with Imodium but it's proving to be a bit challenging. I'll report my findings as I have more information.
One of the other side-effects of the Stivarga is hoarseness. That makes calling folks difficult. I haven't figured out how to best manage this. It may be as easy as drinking more water.
Also figured out one more way that doesn't work for getting a color monitor connected to an Atari 1040 STF. Going to try a few more things before I admit defeat or share my findings. Let's just say there's a lot of inconclusive information on the internet that doesn't seem to work in my case.
More as I know it.
