Just received this flyer from one of the polical animals trying to become the alpha male in his contest. One of the things his administration is offering is a CDROM which is supposed to protect your computer from "Internet predators and scam artists". The choicest quote follows: "The software is called 'Computer Cop' and it will scan your personal computer and identify any possible dangers lurking around your children". I can see it now: "Attention little citizen! Step away from that exposed electrical outlet! NOW!" "Step away from the pool!" "Don't talk to strangers!" I'm just glad they didn't call it "Virtua Cop". :)
