Well, it looks like they managed to land the space glider Discovery this morinng. I think everyone was hoping they wouldn't wake up to another disaster. It's been rather unnerving these past few years to wake up to bombings, a shuttle meltdown, and other assorted nasties of the world. Some days I wonder if it's even worth waking up. Then I remember that with the bad things also come the incredible things, like waking up next to my lovely wife, or all of the other corny-yet-amazing things we take for granted. So, this morning, take a little time to enjoy the sunshine, and think that we're lucky when good things happen.
