Senator Ted Stevens (The Senator from the land where the Internet is a “Series of Tubes“) is once again propoosing legislation that demonstrates a complete lack of understanding about digital technology. There’s the list of problems with the legislation from the EFF, and a form you can send to your Senators to let them know you disapprove of this bill.
And is it just me, or is it mildly disturbing that someone who has likely never really used a computer is making legislation about how I use mine? Perhaps when I become ruler of the universe, I can make laws on how to perform senatorial duties. After all, I went to Washington DC when I was in eighth grade. That must make me a freaking expert.
