JoDee and I went to Ann Arbor this past weekend. She had a meeting with one of the professors to discuss some research she will be doing next semester. Finally, a chance for her to do the astrophysics she's always wanted to do. Of course she has a boatload of reading to d, but she's extremely excited to have this opportunity (and I'm very happy she's finally getting a chance to spread her astrophysics wings).
After her meeting, we of course walked over to Pinball Pete's which has the largest Bemani collection I've seen in Michigan. We had a lot of fun, and I got to play a working upright Tron (haven't done that in a while since the controller at Gameworks in Great Lakes Crossing isn't working right. JoDee also tried her hand at DrumMania, and I embarassed myself at Para Para Paradise. (If you have to ask, you don't want to know. :) )
On Saturday, Ruth went out and bought a Macintosh. I think all of my friends and JoDee could be in a switch ad. "Hi. My name is Yo Yo Ma, and I play the cello."
