Looks like Sun Microsystems is getting a taste of humility now that it has been pretty much rendered obsolete by Linux/Intel machines. Hopefully they won't fall into the complete irrelevancy that SCO is finding itself (and start lawsuits with eeryone and anything that remotely looks or feels like Solaris and Java), but the writing is on the wall for Sun. Note to Sun: Servers are cool and such, but Java is really where it's at. News ervers can only take you so far, but the R&D for new chips and such will quickly be obliterated by people taking cheaper machines and turning them into clusters which outperform your offerings.
