I think there's a serious problem with the state of patents in this country when, out-of-the-blue, 34 companies are found to be infringing on a patent. Doesn't it seem a bit odd that 34 companies would all-at-once violate a patent? Or is this another instance of a submarine patent? You be the judge. I'd say that this was another instance of the patent system being completely FUBAR, but it appears that this realization is brought to the forefront on a weekly basis. Something must be done and soon.
