JoDee and I watched a tape of MTV from 1983. (Part 1, 2). My parents have never had any pay-TV service (cable, dish, or otherwise), and JoDee didn't have cable until later, so it wasn't quite a nostalgic "oh, I remember MTV back then", as much a "oh wow! I haven't seen that video in forever", and "oh, right, they didn't have stereo TVs back then". The commercials are quite a nostalgia-trip as well (especially the video game commercials. :) )
