Packt Publishing is preparing to release their 1,000th title. That's a pretty impressive feat for a company that's been around for only 8 years, but not surprising given their wide coverage of topics. If there's one place I can almost guarantee has a book on a topic, it's Packt. They're celebrating by offering registered users a free eBook. Packt contacted me to share this promotion. I've reviewed Packt books in the past on this site and others, and while I'm not a fan of the "hey blogger, post this on your site" approach, this is interesting enough to warrant a second look.
