Checking in for June for my "Designing a Well-Lived Life" blogging. This is about making small changes during the year to make larger changes.
-
Release a storyworld into the wild: Tried this again with the Pepper&Carrot game jam and failed because I created a boring story. Going to keep trying, though.
-
Learn more programming for the Atari machines to get more comfortable creating for them: Did a little work on this with the excellent "Programming Games for the Atari 2600" book, but haven't done much with that this month. Going to reaffirm my commitment to this.
-
Finish up or hand-off the Pepper&Carrot RPG: Stalled on this. Need to pick things back up.
-
Update the Pepper&Carrot Wiki: Also stalled.
-
Write / Blog more about what's going on: Surprisingly well on this. This is the one thing that I've been pretty consistent on.
-
Work on getting more healthy and as cancer-free as possible: Making some headway but definitely feeling some setbacks in this arena.
-
Meditate: Not done much with this.
-
Declutter, simplify, and focus on the essential: Been working on this and am gong to give this more attention in July. Definitely didn't do this as far as social media in June. Felt really wrapped around the axles.
-
Relax my frustrations and be more accepting of things as they are: Still need to practice with this. I'm definitely a bundle of frustrations.
-
Continue removing debt: Made some progress but also didn't do so well this month. Definitely need to work on this in July.
-
Hang up my hangups - allow myself to be more creative and playful: Made some progress with this by distributing my Mindfulness: The Game game to the folks at Cancer Care Associates. Need to give this more focus in July.
We're half-way through the year. Going to be interesting to see what comes for the second-half.
