Quantegy closed it's last plant recently. They were the last American manufacturer of pro analog tape, and their closing marks the end of a recording era. Slashdot is carrying a link to the story on NPR.

Man, looks like it's snowing again. Hopefully it won't be quite be as bad as the snow on the 23rd. That was a fun drive. I about slipped off of the on-ramp to I-275, and almost slid into an Ford Ranger that was spinning its back tires going sideways.

This is the one racing item I don't think people will want to blow the doors off.
