Looks like Pinky’s swim bladder gave out on him today. He was not able to orient himself upright while swimming, and didn’t look like he was doing too well. Rest in peace, little guy.

Yet another IM service: Google Talk just launched. This one is different, though, because it not only uses Jabber (a truly open protocol), but it also offers voice chat for those using Windows 2K and XP. Very cool. So, if you want to chat, here’s another way to get a hold of me.

My condolences to the family of Bob Moog for their loss this weekend. Moog, for those of you who may not know, was the father of the synthesizer. His inventions created whole genres of music. Thank you, Bob, for opening the electronic pathways for musicians everywhere.
