Checking in for 2023-09-06:
- I'm getting my Bevacizumab (nee: Avastin, Mvasi, Zirabev) chemo this morning. Unfortunately today is slightly complicated because there is protein in my urine. Protein in the urine is generally not a good sign. However it's also one of the minor side-effects of Lonsurf, so there's a question of what's going on. I'll need to collect my urine over a 24 hour period and then drop it off for testing. So that's fun. Lonsurf is definitely doing some interesting things to my body. I hope it can taper off some with the Zarxio but this may be another drug that is doing more harm than good (much like the Irinotecan (nee: Camptosar) did a number on me). So we'll see what happens.
- I had a feeling something like this would happen so I was ready for it. I feel like the difficulty-mode is being slowly ratcheted up. But, again, this isn't a race, it's a marathon. Getting discouraged because things are getting slightly more difficult isn't going to help. Staying the course and accepting the change is way more helpful.
- Scheduled my chemo into the first weeks of November. The year is just flying by.
- Haven't worked on the Pepper&Carrot RPG in a bit. Looking forward to restarting soon.
More as I know it.
