Checking in for 2023-11-15:
- Today I had my chemo round of Bevacizumab (nee: Avastin, Mvasi, Zirabev). Tomorrow I start my Lonsurf course. In December I'll have a PET scan to determine how things are progressing. I'm hoping for good results, or at least stable results.
- Worked a bit more on trying to get LaTeX to bend to my will. I'm working with hyperrefs right now and seeing how to get a chapter to be linkable. I have some stuff that's working but unfortunately I don't think it's the best way to do this. I'm going to play around with it a bit more and perhaps post a blog post to ask for some guidance on how best to make this work. If you want to play along the change I made is here and here.
- I do love that LaTeX is well documented and has a community that knows their stuff, but it can be pretty frustrating making what I think is an innocuous change and having everything break.
- I'm finding myself still a bit overwhelmed. I think part of it is just decision fatigue around several of my projects and my day-to-day tasks. I just need to pick something and trust that it's the best thing for right now and let the rest disappear. But it's hard because there's a lot of things that I want to make some progress on. Maybe I need to park those things for now.
More as I know it.
