Checking in for 2024-02-16:
I managed to do a little work today on interactive storytelling-related work, but it came later on in the afternoon. I'm struggling to harness my focus in the morning. I'm not sure if it's the Carvedilol (nee: Coreg) that's doing it or something else. I feel like it takes a while for me to really get in gear each day. I'm going to practice getting my focus back in the coming days. Last night Pixel puked around 3:00 so getting back to sleep was a bit of a challenge for us. I slept in so the morning was shot. After dinner I took a nap from 17:00 to 19:30. So of course I'm a bit awake right now around 22:00. Hoping to get tired before I want to head to bed.
I mentioned on Mastodon that I've been delaying drinking my morning coffee until I've had a chance to take my blood pressure. The main reason is that they say not to take your blood pressure until 30 minutes after you've had caffeine. So I have to wait on my coffee until I manage to put on the cuff and take my measurements. Unfortunately I think coffee helps to focus and calm me. I mean, look at the URL of this site. It's not like I hide my love of caffeine any.
More as I know it.
